Working in collaboration with one of our Tier 1 Clients, we were appointed to construct a 4-legged platform as a temporary structure to be used to string a new slack span from the tower to the new structure whilst a new substation was under construction.
The conductor was to be transferred from the gantry to the new structure using a new 400mm Zebra conductor. Space was very limited and specialist access equipment had to be used to ensure we were able to complete the job as safely and efficiently as possible.
